Several members of the club are doing a group build of an airplane as a tribute to local (Kragnes Township) flying pioneer Florence (Gunderson) Klingensmith.

 

The goal of this project is to have the completed model be on display at the 2020 Summer Fun Fly and to provide a brief presentation about Florence and her historical impact on aviation in this area. The model will then be donated to the Fargo Air Museum or the Clay County Historical Society (Hjemkomst Center).  

 

This is a great opportunity for some fellowship among members and sharing of skills during these winter months. If you would be interested in joining this group or just being on the email group for progress updates, let Ron Landman know by sending him an e-mail.
